Royal Buying Group, Inc. (RBG) is a merchandising & marketing company for independent, single and multiple-site retailers representing thousands of convenience stores, petroleum locations, truck stop-travel plazas, auto repair shops, college book stores, independent drug stores, tobacco outlets and liquor stores throughout the country.
Royal Buying Group was established in 1995, with the purpose of providing support to retailers in regards to convenience store operations. RBG is owned and operated by six exceptionally experienced industry leaders who combine diverse skills and proven perspectives to anticipate retailer’s needs. Our core business includes negotiations of products and services (called “Vendor Programs”), along with providing our members the necessary marketing support in order to ensure a competitive advantage.
Joining our network of members provides retailers the opportunity to be part of a chain organization, allowing retailers to take advantage of programs only offered to large retail brands. Royal Buying Group negotiates, implements and tracks programs with hundreds of national manufacturers/suppliers offering the best rebates, allowances, placement dollars, special pricing, and vendor programs available, on a national level.
Store level purchasing remains the same; members do not change their everyday business practices. RBG has partnered with major grocery distributors throughout the country in order to track location purchases. RBG’s proprietary database allows us to track each location’s purchases in order to invoice manufactures based on our vendor programs; collecting and remitting rebates back to each member.
Each quarter, members receive rebate checks based on their individual store purchases and vendor program participation. Rebate check detail is also included that provides line-item reporting on each rebate and program, allowing members to keep track of rebates received. Membership Program available for one or more retail sites, open to any brand or channel partner
RBG Multiple-Site Retailer Program
Membership Program available for ten or more retail sites, open to any brand or channel partner and includes exclusive program offers, combined rebate checks, pre-book opportunities and an assigned RBG Account Executive. In addition to receiving multiple site owner’s national rebates and allowances, RBG will help reduce expenses by saving valuable time for multiple-site retailers. RBG meets with hundreds of national manufacturers each year to determine the best available programs, allowing your employees more time to focus on regional programs, local programs and growing in-store sales.
RBG Wholesale-Jobber Program
Membership Program available to Petroleum Wholesalers, open to any brand. Partnering with RBG will provide your dealers a way to increase their non-fuel revenue. RBG will mail communication regarding the program benefits to each dealer, and then contact each dealer to explain the benefits & services of the program. Opportunities are also available for a RBG sales representative to present the program benefits at a dealer meeting.
