This will allow Royal Buying Group to provide convenience retailing services to all Clark branded channel partners in the form of marketing programs, rebate administration, and promotion management.

Announcing Open Enrollment for the 2013 RBG Scholarship Program

Royal Buying Group, Inc. (RBG) announced today that its 12th annual scholarship program is now accepting applications. The Royal Buying Group Scholarship Program is available to eligible candidates that are high school seniors or graduates who are planning to or are enrolled at an accredited two or four-year college or university in the United States that will lead to an academic degree. Eligible candidates include Royal Buying Group members and/or their children. All RBG affiliations are eligible, including: Shell Buying Club, Sinclair Rebate Program, LukOil Buying Club, Getty Buying Club, KwikFarms Buying Club, Gulf Advantage, Tesoro VIP Club, TETCO Advantage, Irving Oil Buying Club, Lavigne Baker VIP Club, Smoker Friendly, Pace Alliance, and NATSO participating locations.

To date, RBG has given out 20 scholarships to students that are part of their membership. This year’s winners include Wallis Daniels, who is currently a freshman attending Northern Kentucky University and pursuing her education in Nursing. The Second recipient, Maurene Daniels, is also a freshman at Northern Kentucky University where she is majoring in Electronic Media and Broadcasting. The Daniels’ father, Todd Daniels, owns and operates Todd’s IGA Express and Hunter IGA Express in Ohio. Todd Daniels has been part of RBG’s membership since 2010.

Angela Angelilli, Executive Vice President of Sales, and Sharon Porter, Executive Vice President of Business Development, will fill the role of former President/CEO Michael Zielinski. Their expanded roles will embark on leading increased strategic business partnerships by adding value through revenue generating opportunities for convenience retailing suppliers, distributors and retailers. (RBG) announced today that its annual Independent C-Store Expo (I-C-Expo) will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Burr Ridge Marriott Hotel located at 1200 Burr Ridge Parkway, Burr Ridge, Illinois. Additional information regarding the specific events and times of each will follow in the near future.

“RBG’s Independent C-Store Expo is the perfect opportunity for retailers to come and meet one-on-one with National Representatives from leading C-Store Suppliers, to learn about new products, marketing promotions and opportunities to grow c-store sales,” said Angela Angelilli, RBG’s Vice-President of Member Services. “This is our 17th year of this show and we pride ourselves on making the Independent C-Store Expo a first class event; allowing retailers and suppliers to network, while enjoying the reception and an informal atmosphere. Lisle, ILL – C-Store Training Services (CSTS), a division of the Royal Buying Group, Inc. (RBG), launched a new category of training in August of 2011 called Computer Based Training, which offers training modules in the form of a CD or digital download that is conducted on the recipient’s computer. Today C-Store Training is taking it to the next step by offering their library of training modules through website integration or email distribution. The C-Store Training software created will allow each module to be utilized by employees with unlimited access. This will provide twenty-five (25) modules in the categories of customer service, financial management, food service, human resources, loss prevention, and including Spanish language versions. These modules are ready to be used as currently designed, or can be customized to incorporate a company’s logo, policies and procedures. Exam scores, tracking of test questions, and employee course results are also included and provided through the training. CSTS Training Modules can benefit all levels of employees including: operators, managers, and cashiers.

This year’s event will be held at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club at 1 Pete Dye Drive in Lemont, Illinois on Thursday, September 6, 2012. This event will provide a nice casual setting for current or potential Royal Buying Group, Inc. suppliers and retailers to meet and talk about today’s convenience retailing industry.

This year’s golfing event will also support the Royal Buying Group, Inc. Education Scholarship Program. In order to give back something to the convenience store industry and to help nurture future leaders, Royal Buying Group, Inc. will award educational scholarships to RBG retailers and/or their children that are High School seniors or graduates who are planning to or are enrolled at an accredited two or four-year College or University in the United States that will lead to an academic degree. Lisle, ILL – The Royal Buying Group (RBG) announced today the third and final of three available educational sessions in association with the 2012 Independent C-Store Expo (I-C-Expo) that is being held on April 12, 2012 at the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook in Oak Brook, IL. The third educational session offered is The Energy Category: Growth, Development, and Sales, presented by Monster Energy. The third session will be held at 1:00pm – 2:00pm prior to the I-C-Expo exhibiting tradeshow hours. There will be a lunch buffet offered throughout the duration of the Educational Sessions for retailers attending any of the provided sessions. The Educational Sessions are free for all retailers to attend.

The third available educational session, Energy Category: Growth, Development, and Sales, presented by Howard Rosner from Monster Energy, will analyze Energy Category growth and projected growth in the next 5 years. In addition, a deeper dive into Nielsen Beverage Category detail will be examined, showing growth of Energy Drinks as second in total share only to Carbonated Soft Drinks. A review of Energy Drink brands will be provided, as well as an explanation of the expansion of the Energy Drink demographic that has resulted from new innovation. Howard will also discuss the Energy Drink’s strong brand association and marketing tactics to hit the bull’s-eye.

About Howard Rosner:

As Field Marketing Manager for Monster Energy Company’s Central Business Unit, Howard oversees the retail implementation of national marketing campaigns, retail utilization of local stops for national sports and music sponsorships, implementation of custom chain and independent retail programs, and development of unique local sponsorships, all culminating to drive sales for Monster Energy, Worx Energy Shots, and Peace Iced Tea.

Howard spent 18 years in sports and event marketing specializing in the creation, execution and analysis of sports and special event sponsorships, including those with heavy retail components. In his roles with world-class sports/special events organizations, (including the Detroit Pistons, Detroit Red Wings, and Rusty Wallace Racing) Howard has developed marketing programs and sponsorships for hundreds of clients across all forms of business. The second educational session being offered is Quick Serve Restaurant Franchising for Convenience Stores, presented by Quiznos. This session will be held at 12:00pm – 1:00pm, prior to the I-C-Expo exhibiting tradeshow hours. There will be a lunch buffet offered throughout the duration of the Educational Sessions for retailers attending any of the provided sessions. The Educational Sessions are free for all retailers to attend.

The second available educational session, Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) Franchising for Convenience Stores, presented by Shultz Hartgrove from Quiznos, will be focusing on how to take food service to the next level in convenience operations. It will examine why QSR is the best way to leverage a convenience store as a food service destination. It will also discuss how to choose a great QSR partner, and how to get the most out of a QSR franchise. Other QSR session topics include: finding out if QSR is right for individual retailers and their convenience store(s), franchise vs. third party leasing, and QSR marketing for a convenience store restaurant.

About Shultz Hartgrove:

Shultz Hartgrove is the Senior Vice President of Development for Convenience & Non Traditional of Quiznos Sub since 2009. With 23 years in the convenience and non traditional industries, Shultz has used that knowledge and experience to redesign the convenience store platform for Quiznos Sub and has added over 200 convenience and non-traditional locations since joining Quiznos Sub.

Prior to joining Quiznos Sub, Shultz worked as Director of National Accounts for NBTY, the largest vitamin and nutritional company in the US, focusing on the convenience channel with brands Met Rx and Pure Protein. In addition, he was the founder of Brand Management, a national sales and marketing management organization that specialized in new consumer packaged product introduction.

Hartgrove’s additional previous work experience includes: designing and implementing full-service coffee delivery systems for national convenience store chains as the national marketing manager for A&P Stores- Eight O’Clock Coffee’s food service division, and as the manager of the wholesale division of Mrs. Fields Cookies, and helping manage the subsequent acquisition of the division by Unilever, N.V. where he worked as a channel account manager. He also currently serves as a committee member for the NACSPAC Committee and the NACS Nutritional Committee.

The Category Management 101 Session, presented Kelly Fulford of General Mills Convenience, will share a comprehensive overview of Category Management concepts and principles in the context of their specific application to Convenience Stores. This session will break down the definition of category management into a basic, easy-to-understand definition and discuss how to leverage data to make the best assortment decisions. In addition, it will provide some basic merchandising guidelines that will help retailers organize their most important categories in a way that makes the most sense to their consumer. This session will also explore the convenience store shopper and the distinct opportunities and actionable takeaways that can be applied by understanding the unique shopping habits of today’s consumers.

About Kelly Fulford:

Kelly is the Senior Category Development Manager at General Mills Convenience. She joined General Mills in 2003 and has held numerous positions across multiple functions of the organization including category management, sales, marketing, and operations. In her current role, Kelly is responsible for leading the Convenience Category Management team and all category management related activities for key distributors and retailers across the United States. She has worked in category management over the past 4 years and has been instrumental in elevating the category management tools and capabilities for General Mills.

Prior to General Mills Inc, Kelly worked in the financial industry for over 15-years and held several senior executive positions in marketing and sales operations.

Kelly received her Bachelor’s degree from Concordia University majoring in Communications and Organizational Management. Kelly obtained her Master’s degree in Organizational Management from Concordia University in 2001, and is currently working towards her MBA. She will be graduating in June, 2012.

Lisle, IL – Royal Buying Group, Inc. (RBG) has announced today that they have expanded their annual independent retailer event to (2) two days. C-Store Training Services will provide (2) two enhanced training workshops on Wednesday, April 11th, 2012 and the Independent C-Store Expo (I-C-Expo) will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012. The 2012 I-C-Expo is projected to be their biggest show yet with an expansion of booths and space of up to fifty percent larger than previous expos. The two days of activities and events will be held at the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook Hotel located in Oak Brook, Illinois.

The first day of events, Wednesday, April 11th, will feature two new training workshops through Royal Buying Group’s training division, C-Store Training Services. All retailers are welcome to register to attend the workshops. The second day, Thursday, April 12th, will begin with exhibitor registration and set up at 8:00am. There will be a brunch provided starting at 10:00am, prior and during the available educational sessions. There will be (3) three free educational sessions that are open to all retailers to attend. They will be held at 11:00am, 12:00pm, and 1:00pm. The educational session topics will be announced closer to the event. The tradeshow exhibit hall will open promptly at the conclusion of the last educational session at 2:00pm. The new exhibiting hours of the show are from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. Lisle, ILL – C-Store Training Services, a division of Royal Buying Group, Inc. (RBG) added today two new workshops to its library of available classes and workshops. Both workshops will be offered on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook Hotel located at 1401 West 22nd Street in Oak Brook, Illinois. C-Store Training Workshops will be instructed by Mark Wells and Bonnie Wells of LJT Management, whom have over 25 years of C-Store Industry training experience.

C-Store Merchandising for Results – this workshop will take an in depth look into all of the merchandising categories and the key to building sales in each one. Discussion topics will include:

  • Merchandising trends
  • C-store merchandising
  • Product pricing strategies
  • Store layout and display
  • Sales tracking
  • Shrink analysis
  • Marketing techniques

Coaching Employees to Suggestively Sell – this workshop’s focus will be on how to instruct c-store employees in order to increase sales through suggestive selling techniques. Discussion topics will include:

  • Product knowledge
  • Bundling products
  • Keys to suggestive selling
  • Attributes of a good a good leader

Both workshops are being held from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, Central Standard Time on Wednesday, April 11th. Check-In for the workshops starts at 11:00am with lunch provided from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. There is currently an early bird registration rate of $169 for those who register by March 1, 2012. Standard registration rates of $199 will take effect starting March 2nd. [Lisle, IL] Royal Buying Group, Inc. (RBG) announced today that its tenth (10th) annual scholarship program is now open for applications. The Royal Buying Group Scholarship Program is available to eligible candidates that are High School seniors or graduates who are planning to or are enrolled at an accredited two or four-year College or University in the United States that will lead to an academic degree. Eligible candidates include Royal Buying Group members and/or their children. All RBG affiliations are eligible, including Shell Buying Club, Sinclair Rebate Program, Tesoro VIP Club, TETCO Advantage, Irving Oil Buying Club, Lavigne Baker VIP Club, Connect-2-One, Club, Smoker Friendly, Pace Alliance and NATSO participating locations.

To date, RBG has given out eighteen scholarships to students that are part of their membership. This year’s winners include; Chelsea Fletcher who is currently attending Florida Gateway College and majoring in Veterinarian Medicine and minoring in Marine Biology. Chelsea’s mother, Tammy Fletcher works for Scaffs, Inc. dba S & S Food Stores in Lake City, Florida. S & S Food Stores has been part of RBG since 2010. The second recipient, Stevie Durocher is currently enrolled at Lyndon Institute and will be attending Middlebury College this winter, where she will be studying Biology and Dance. Stevie’s mother, Rosemary Durocher works for Fordham’s Mobil Mart, Inc., located in Lyndonville, Vermont. Fordham’s Mobil Mart, Inc. has been a part of RBG since 2010.

The Vendor Department is comprised of a passionate team of experienced individuals all working together to improve the products, services, and technology available to independent convenience store operators, while also making the accessibility of these essential business tools more readily available. Since 1995, RBG has benefited its retailers by selecting, negotiating, implementing and tracking the best possible vendor programs in the convenience store industry. The vendor department is the cornerstone in making all of that possible. It is built on the foundation of strong vendor and distributor relationships, merchandising and marketing services, promotional campaigns, and consistent approaches to merchandising and retail execution.

Sharon Porter - Director of Vendors/Business Development

Sharon joined the RBG team in 2003 as the Director of Business Development. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing new opportunity development, field merchandising, services, food service and coffee category management. Since then she has also acquired the role and title of Director of Vendors. With her newly obtained role she took on overseeing all vendor relationships, category managers, and vendor marketing and field merchandising.

Sharon came to RBG with 20+ years experience in the convenience store/petroleum industry, which includes working as a field consultant for Southland Corporation/7 Eleven and overseeing corporate and franchise operated locations branded 7 Eleven, Citgo, and Southland Liquor Stores. Sharon then joined chains of independently operated locations branded Shell, BP Amoco and Dunkin Donuts before coming to RBG. Sharon also holds an active Food Sanitation Certification and continues to participate in many convenience store industry advisory councils and roundtable panels. She graduated from Elmhurst College with a BA Business Administration / Marketing degree.

Mike Small – Sr. Category Manager

Mike joined RBG in February, 2011 as a business consultant and is responsible for developing, negotiating and securing national programs and promotions with national vendor corporations with a heavy concentration in the beverage industry.

Mike began his professional career in 1991 with Pepsi-Cola working his way through the sales division at various roles including Account Executive within the marketing department responsible for the convenience and petroleum channel of business. Prior to RBG, Mike was the National Sale & Marketing Director for Power Mart/Power Buying Dealers USA in Oak Brook, Illinois for 11 years. In this role, he worked with a national team of Category Directors and various regional personnel to negotiate, secure, and implement national programs across all categories for the ExxonMobil franchisee organization. Mike graduated from St. Mary's University with a Bachelors degree.

Darrin LiCausi – Category Manager

Darrin has been working with RBG since 2008 and was hired as the category manager directly responsible for the tobacco and general merchandise categories. His career path began as an Associate Buyer for Montgomery Ward’s where he worked diligently to implement sales and promotional strategies in all retail stores nationwide, while building a vendor base to help maximize exposure and promote vendor products through advertisements.

His path continued in the direction of becoming an Inventory Analyst for Sport Mart, followed by taking on Buyer roles and responsibilities, which includes his prior position as a Buyer working at Sears Corporate Headquarters to meet and work with vendors to develop sales strategies and a means to communicate new items and programs in the market place. He graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

New Hires:

Khatija Ali – Statistical Assistant

Khatija was recently welcomed to RBG in June of this year. Her primary responsibilities are data analysis, report generation, and distributor order placement. She graduated from DePaul University with a degree in Information Systems and a Minor in Management Information Systems.

Jill Aimone – Administrative Assistant

Jill is the newest member of the vendor department and joined the team in August of this year. Her responsibilities include vendor marketing coordination, lead communication, networking events coordination, and department scheduling. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of the Arts degree.

Promotions:

James Kern – Jr. System/Network Administrator

James has been working with the Royal Buying Group since 2004 and was hired as the Data Analyst. James has recently been promoted to the Jr. System/Network Administrator for the company. He works alongside the vendor department performing maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep for all Information Technology matters. His tasks include monitoring and verifying the integrity of all hardware, server resources, systems, key processes, logs, and backup jobs. He works hard to maintain the company’s network, company data and storage drives and archives, phones, hardware and software, installations, and employee’s user accounts. James is also certificated in Comptia A+ and Network+, and is in the process of obtaining his certification in MCITP: MCSE.

One thousand dollar ($1000.00) scholarships were announced at the 2011 RBG Annual Programs Kick-Off Reception held at the Burr Ridge Marriott in Burr Ridge, Illinois on March 31, 2011. The scholarship amounts were generated from the Independent C-Store Networking Event and Golf Outing held by the Royal Buying Group at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club on September 9, 2010.

Donna Rubis - Executive Assistant and Marketing Manager

Donna came to the Royal Buying Group in 2009 and was hired as the Executive Assistant to Michael Zielinski (President/CEO) and the RBG Board of Directors. She has recently been promoted to Marketing Manager, in addition to her current role in providing executive office assistance to the company. Donna has 8 years of executive and office management experience working in the Information Technology and Aviation Industries. Her chief role within the RBG Marketing Department will be to oversee and manage all marketing projects and development.

Erika Swanson - Graphic Design Manager

Erika has been working for RBG since 2010 as the Graphic Designer and has been recently promoted to Graphic Design Manager. She has since then been certified through the graphic design program at the College of DuPage in Graphic Design, Web Design, and Illustration. Katie Ames - Communications Coordinator

Katie has been working for RBG since 2008 and was hired as the administrative assistant/receptionist for the General Office and Human Resources Department. She has since been promoted to the position of Communications Coordinator. Katie graduated from Taylor University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies. Katie’s primary role in the marketing department will be in the execution and monitoring of all of RBG’s marketing and communications.

The Royal Buying Group Scholarship Program is available to eligible candidates that are High School seniors or graduates who are planning to or are enrolled at an accredited two or four-year College or University in the United States that will lead to an academic degree. Eligible candidates include Royal Buying Group members and/or their children. All RBG affiliations are eligible, including STARZ Buying Club, Sinclair Rebate Program, LukOil Buying Club, Getty Buying Club, KwikFarms Buying Club, Gulf Advantage, Tesoro VIP Club, TETCO Advantage, Lavigne Baker VIP Club, Connect-2-One, Club, Smoker Friendly, Pace Alliance and NATSO participating locations.

(RBG) is proud to announce that they have modified their multi-year agreement with Shell Oil Products US and Motiva Enterprises, LLC by adding an amendment authorizing them to provide sales support for the Shell STARZ web portal. RBG will have the exclusive rights to sell advertising and promotional opportunities to the convenience store supplier community, targeted towards Shell branded locations.

STARZ is the web based community for all Shell branded locations to find specific convenience store suppliers, and the promotional opportunities that exist for the convenience store channel. Royal Buying Group will provide all support for the development of content, and provide logistics coordination to ensure proper representation of convenience store suppliers on the STARZ web site.

As part of this commitment, Royal Buying Group, Inc. is also proud to announce the launch of the STARZ National Sales Planner Program. The STARZ National Sales Planner Program is a comprehensive promotional vehicle to exclusively promote specific products in a specific timeframe at Shell branded locations. These national promotional periods will be two months in length and include all signage and other POP materials to help promote a supplier’s product for the length of the promotion. All convenience store suppliers are eligible to participate in the STARZ National Sales Planner Program; however, the program is limited to four (4) suppliers per promotion timeframe. The scholarship amounts were generated from the Royal Buying Group annual golf outing held at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club on September 10, 2009.

Effective immediately the STARZ Buying Club has changed its name to the Shell Buying Club. The Shell Buying Club is a comprehensive convenience retailing program operated by Royal Buying Group, Inc. to assist Shell branded network partners in the United States in the form of vendor marketing programs, rebate administration and vendor promotion management. The Shell Buying Club Vendor Team has negotiated programs with the best program/ pricing available in the marketplace by utilizing our membership as chain leverage.

According to Stephen Walker, CR Business Development Manager for Shell Oil Products US: “our goal for 2010 is to create additional brand alignment for Shell-branded retailers and wholesalers.”

The scholarship amounts were generated from the Royal Buying Group annual golf outing held at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club on October 2, 2008.

The first recipient, Nihit Shah is a senior at Walter Payton College Preparatory High School. Christopher Nihit's father Upendra Shah owns 7-12 Food Mart in Chicago, Illinois. The second recipient, Nimra Khan is a sophomore at Elgin Community College. Nimra's father Rasheed Khan owns River Road Shell in McHenry Illinois.

The Royal Buying Group Scholarship Program is open to eligible candidates that are High School seniors; or graduates who plan to or are enrolled at an accredited two or four-year College or University in the United States that will lead to an academic degree. Resnick Associates focus on the areas of estate, business succession, and liquidity issues for the privately held business owner so that he or she will be able to pass the business to the next generation or other successors. The Royal Buying Group Scholarship Program is available to eligible candidates that are High School seniors or graduates who are planning to or are enrolled at an accredited two or four-year College or University in the United States that will lead to an academic degree. Eligible candidates include Royal Buying Group members and/or their children. LISLE, IL - Royal Buying Group, Inc. (RBG) announced today that its sixth (6th) annual scholarship program is now open for applications. The Royal Buying Group Scholarship Program is available to eligible candidates that are High School seniors or graduates who are planning to or are enrolled at an accredited two or four-year College or University in the United States that will lead to an academic degree. Eligible candidates include Royal Buying Group members and/or their children. All RBG affiliations are eligible, including STARZ Buying Club, Sinclair Rebate Program, LukOil Buying Club, Getty Buying Club, KwikFarms Buying Club, Gulf Advantage, TETCO Advantage, Connect-2-One, and NATSO participating locations.

To date, RBG has given out ten scholarships to children of our membership. This year's winners include; Christopher Butler, who is a freshman at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Christopher's father, Bruce Butler, owns Bridgeport Ave Shell in Shelton, Connecticut. The second recipient, Shayan Khan, is a freshman at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Southside Shell, a Wisconsin Petroleum, Inc., dealer in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, is the STARZ Buying Club’s 2,000th location. HINSDALE, IL - Royal Buying Group, Inc. (RBG) announced today that its fifth (5th) annual scholarship program is now open for applications. The Royal Buying Group Scholarship Program is available to eligible candidates that are High School seniors or graduates who are planning to or are enrolled at an accredited two or four-year College or University in the United States that will lead to an academic degree. Eligible candidates include Royal Buying Group members and/or their children. All RBG affiliations are eligible, including STARZ Buying Club, Sinclair Rebate Program, LukOil Buying Club, Getty Buying Club, KwikFarms Buying Club, Gulf Advantage, TETCO Advantage, Connect-2-One, and NATSO participating locations.

To date, RBG has given out ten scholarships to children of our membership. This years winners were; Andrew Holmstrom, who is a freshman at DePaul University. Andrew’s father, Mark Holmstrom, owns Tom’s & Jerry’s Shell and Willowbrook Shell which are both in Willowbrook, Illinois. The second recipient, Emily Park, is a freshman at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Emily’s father, Won Jong Park, owns WJP Citgo in Mt. Prospect Illinois.

(RBG) announced today that they have signed a multi-year agreement with Krispy Krunchy Foods, partnering to operate and promote the Krispy Krunchy Chicken Program to the Chicago market and to new markets, nationwide. This agreement will allow RBG to provide retailers the Krispy Krunchy Chicken Program to convenience store locations and other stand alone foodservice outlets. The program is open and available to all retailers, Buying Group membership is not necessary.

The Krispy Krunchy Chicken Program provides stores a “branded” or co-branded” image, unique and delicious complete menu offering, flexibility to utilize existing equipment (where possible), numerous graphics/signage options, thorough on-site training, marketing development support, free design/layout, all with no contract to sign and no franchise or royalty fees. Targeted to spanning all day parts, the Krispy Krunchy Chicken program provides an easy-to-operate and excellent gross profit, foodservice program to enter into, or grow current foodservice offerings.

Hinsdale, IL. Royal Buying Group, Inc. (RBG) announced today that they have signed a multi-year agreement with Godfather's Pizza, Inc. to provide marketing and merchandising services to retail convenience operators and other businesses. This agreement will allow RBG to provide retailers the Godfather's Pizza Express Programs to all convenience store locations in the industry.

Specifically developed for convenience store locations, RBG will be offering the recently developed freezer-to-oven program. This program produces a complete menu consisting of traditional/ breakfast/dessert pizzas, chicken tenders, chicken wings, seasoned potato wedges, breadsticks with dipping sauce, etc. The easy-to-execute program is designed for operators whose space and labor is limited. Pizzas are pre-assembled and flash frozen. With little or no product waste and minimal labor needed, just thawing and baking is required.

For those convenience operators who have more space or a need to be able to sell a made-to-order pizza, Godfather's Pizza Express' Frozen Golden Program gives that flexibility. Both programs include in-store training by Godfather's Pizza franchise services personnel.

(RBG) has signed an exclusive, multi-year agreement with Getty Petroleum Marketing, Inc. to establish and conduct a convenience store buying club named the Kwik Farms Buying Club. This agreement will allow Royal Buying Group to provide convenience retailing services to all Kwik Farms Franchisees in the form of marketing programs, rebate administration, and promotion management, including Kwik Farms branded proprietary products and programs.

The Kwik Farms Buying Club provides buying benefits and rebates on products and services that petroleum and convenience store operators purchase each day. Representing all convenience store categories, equipment replacement and repair, and many of the expense line service programs; the Kwik Farms Buying Club will be a comprehensive resource for Kwik Farms Franchisees.
