Job Summary
Immediate opening available in marketing company located in Lisle, IL. Seeking a FT entry-level Category manager to manage and service existing vendors, expand current programs and generate new programs.
Job Functions
- Manage current program
- Meet with new and prospective Vendors
- Negotiate new programs
- Some travel may be required
Qualifications
Education
- Associates Degree preferred
Experience
- 1-2 years of office/clerical experience in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong sales/negotiation skills
- Strong communication and computer literacy skills.
- Good organization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong written, verbal and communications skills
- Strong MS Word, Excel skills
- Convenience Store Industry experience a plus

Qualifications:
- Previous 3 years sales experience required
- Excellent communication/phone skills
- Focus on outbound phone prospecting and account management
- Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
